Thurs June 1 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports a decent trip on the Viking Starlite. To start out the fishing was picky with a lot of seaweed around. When it got good it was steady with all of the Porgies in the Large to Jumbo range and there were zero throwbacks. We also had about a dozen Bluefish that definitely hurt the Porgy bite. It was a small crowd today, so there was no pool. The trip is cancelled for Fri, June 2. Our next sailing date is Sat, June 3.
