Mon June 19 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports a fairly well day of Porgy fishing on the Viking Starlite. We went into Fort Pond Bay to hide from the east wind and found some good action. We had to pick our way through a lot of fish, but pulled out some really nice sized Porgies. The pool winner today went to Tim Edwards from Long Island, NY with a 2 lb Porgy. We will definitely be sailing again tomorrow (Tuesday, June 20th) at 5am on our Montauk Spring Porgies.
