Mon July 3 – Full Moon Striped Bass

Capt Carl reports an absolute bloodbath on the Viking Star Full Moon Striped Bass extravaganza! It was pretty insane non-stop action from start to finish with the first half of the night seeing mainly angry hard fighting aggressive giant Bluefish. Along with Giant Scup and a beauty 7lb Fluke! Once it got dark, the Blues slowed down enough to get through to the Striped Bass and we saw mixed sizes with a couple of lucky slots to add to the filet bags. It was a fun night of fishing and catching! Tyler Pelech from Ridge, NY took the pool with a 31 inch, 14 lb Striped Bass.

Our next Striped Bass trips will be on the New Moon July 15, 16, and 17th.
We will also be running Night Gorilla Blues trips on July 22nd and 23rd! We can’t wait to get back out there!
