Wed July 12 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports an excellent day of fishing today on the Viking Star. Local fishing this morning was great, we had non-stop action for about 2 hours with mostly large sized Porgies. after loading up on Porgies we worked our way east for our catch of Seabass, we had to pick our way through a lot of little ones, but it seemed as if most people had their limit. We did catch a few blue fish on the boat today as well as a keeper Striped Bass. The first place pool winner today was Alberto Rivera from the Bronx with a 2 3/4 lb Porgy. We definitely will be sailing again tomorrow (Thursday, July 13th) on our 5 am Montauk Lighthouse Porgies & SeaBass.
