Wed Aug 9 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Capt J.R. reports a very breezy morning onboard the Viking Star. Despite these unfortunate conditions we found some shelter from the wind and got the trip in while finding some keeper fluke, sea bass, and porgies. There was definitely enough action to go around and even found some for the dinner plates. Not bad considering the tough conditions. We only had one pool on the boat today and the winner was Jake Davidson from Glenn Rock, NJ with a 4.5 lb Fluke.
