Wed Aug 30 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM

Capt J.R. reports a good afternoon on the Viking Star. A rather large ground swell kept us from our recent hot spots, however, we found some pretty decent action in calmer local waters. Sea bass, porgies, and some KEEPER fluke made up the catch leaving us with some nice looking buckets at the end of the trip. Everyone got plenty of fish for dinner. The pool winner this afternoon was Tom O’Keefe from Oyster Bay, NY with a 5.5 lb. Fluke.
