Mon Sept 4 – 1/2 Day Fishing PM

Capt Steven Sr. reports an action filled morning of fishing on the Viking Starlite. We started out with the biggest fleet of boats we’ve seen all summer, probably over 50 boats around and still managed boat 7 nice sized keeper Fluke after picking through the small fish. We then worked our way out and found ourselves a nice pick of jumbo Porgies and some nice sized SeaBass. The first prize pool winner this morning was Anthony Freapane from Lindenhurst, NY with a 5.5 lb. Fluke. The second prize pool winner went to Leo Knipe from Oceanside, NY with a 4.5 lb. Fluke.
