Mon Sept 4 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports another great day of fishing on the Viking Starship. We started out the morning on the anchor, where we sat for 2-2.5 hours and had all the Porgies we needed. Porgy fishing was steady for that whole drop with large and jumbos coming up all around the boat. after get our load of Porgies we worked our way to the east for some SeaBass and had to pick our way through a lot of little fish to keep a handful of fish. Overall, it was a really good of fishing. The first prize pool winner went Jose Campos with a 3 lb. Porgy. The edible pool winner went to Selvin Rubi with a 28 lb. Striped Bass.
