Mon Oct 9 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports a much better day of fishing today on the Viking Starship. After a slow week for fishing following multiple large storms, it seems that fishing is starting to get back on track. We had a steady pick most of the day pulling up some nice sized SeaBass, a lot of jumbos and some decent Porgies. There definitely seemed to be more fish circulating than there has been. We only had one pool on the boat today that went to Bernaldo Castillo from NY with a 2.3 lb Porgy. We will be sailing again tomorrow (Tuesday, October 10th) at 5am on our Block Island Porgies and SeaBass. Our office will be open at 4 am for ticket sales and check-in.
