Tue Oct 24 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a fine day on the Viking Starship. We moved around a bunch today putting in 5 drops. Each lasted about an hour, but the action was very good with mostly keeper Sea Bass and the Porgies were large and all was very good quality. There were also about a 1/2 dozen Cod. The first place pool winner was Destin Jean-Francois from Haiti with a 2 1/2 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Stanley Dean from Brooklyn, NY with a 7 lb Cod.
