Wed Oct 25 – Blackfish & Sea Bass

Capt JR reports a good day on the Viking Star. It was good Sea Bass wise. We hit some productive Sea Bass drops early and found a nice supply of knot heads to start off the day. The Blackfish bite was definitely off a bit. We bounced around a few rock piles and found some keepers, but not a catch to write home about. However, we did find some more nice Sea Bass and a few Cod to supplement the picky bite. The Blackfish pool winner was Jason Rodgers from Wellsville, PA with a 5 lber. Quang Ly from Faucless Hill, PA won the Sea Bass pool with  4.2 lber.Tomorrow’s trip is cancelled, but we are on schedule to get out Friday!
