Wed Nov 8 – Night Squid Jigging

Capt JR reports another productive night of squidding on the Viking Starlite. Right from the start the big tubes were biting quite well with double headers being pretty common. As the night went on the boat was surrounded by massive balls of bait that kept some of the squid busy and made the jig bite cool off a bit. However, we maintained a good pick throughout the remainder of the night. Everyone ended the night with a respectable catch of nice squid. We are sailing Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week departing at 5:30pm and returning at 12am. The fare is $60.
