Fri Nov 10 – Blackfish & Sea Bass

Capt JR reports a very productive day onboard the Viking Star. We started out on the Sea Bass grounds and found excellent fishing with knothead Bass coming up all around the boat. After we easily captured our limit of the jumbo biscuits we moved to the Blackfish zone and found the best bite we have seen so far this fall. Anglers that had Blackfish experience had no issue boating their limit with other less experienced anglers picking a few nice fish as well. The fall weather has finally livened up the tog bite, now is the time to come dig in. The Blackfish pool winner was Ryder Sonday from Shenendoah Junction, WV with a 5.8 pounder. The Sea Bass pool winner was Franklin Oddo from Queens, NY with a 4.8 pounder.
