Mon Nov 13 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a very good day of fishing today on the Viking Starship. We started our morning off in the deep like we have been the last few days and fell into some really beautiful SeaBass and a small pile of Porgies. We worked the area for a bit and then did some exploring into some different ares looking for some Porgies. After taking a little ride we did in fact get some good drifts with medium to jumbo sized Porgies, large Seabass, and about a half a dozen keeper Cod!The first prize pool winner went to Mr. Lee from Queens with a 3 lb Porgy. We are sailing tomorrow at 5am for Block Island Porgies and SeaBass, the ticket office will be open at 4am.
