Fri Nov 24 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports an okay day on the Viking Starship. The Porgy bite was off today, probably due to the leftover dirty water from the blow and the full moon. On the other hand Sea Bass were biting everywhere we went! They were pretty much all keepers with only a few throwbacks. There were also a handful of Cod. The first place pool winner was Cornell Armstrong from Teaneck, NJ with a 2 1/2 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Juan Carlos with an 8 lb Cod. We are definitely sailing tomorrow. The office will open at 4am for check in and ticket sales.
