Thurs Dec 7 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt JR reports a decent day of fishing on the Viking Starship. We had a pick of sea bass and porgies everywhere we fished. A few drops we were able to sit and get some good shots of big porgies. Most drops had pretty good shots of sea bass as well. Just a few cod and pollock today. All in all not a bad day. The first prize pool winner today went to Jose Ramirez, from El salvador with a 2 1/2 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner Lai Chung from New York, NY with a 5 lb Cod. We are sailing tomorrow on the Viking STAR at 5am for our 5am Block Island Porgies and SeaBass, the office will be open at 4am!
