Sat Dec 23 – Block Island Mixed Bag

Capt Dave reports improved fishing from yesterday on the Viking Starship. We had a bunch of Sea Bass, Ling and Bergalls in the catch. Unfortunately no Porgies or Cod to be had today. It does look like things are coming back to life after the big blow. The pool winner was Noel Miranda from Roosevelt Island, NYC with a 3 lb Sea Bass.
We will be taking a few days off for Christmas. The office is closed and we will reopen on Thursday, Dec 28th. We will sail Thursday through Sunday (weather permitting) for Block Island Mixed Bag fishing! Sea Bass, Cod, Porgies and everything else we can find until December 31! Beginning Wednesday, Jan 3, we will be sailing for COD every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday through February! We look forward to seeing you onboard! We also have 2 spots available on the Viking Fivestar for a 30 to 50 Mile Wreck trip on Saturday, Dec 30th. All trips can be booked online at vikingfleet.com while the office is closed.
