Sat May 18 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Steven Jr reports a tough start to Porgy fishing out of Montauk on the Viking Starlite. We had to wait them out to get bites and it never got better than a delicate pick. There was improvement when the tide got going and cleared out the dirty water and seaweed, but it was still picky. We also had some short Fluke and lost a keeper Striped Bass at the boat. The pool winner was Daniel Morrobel from New York, NY with a 2 lb Scup.
