Fri May 24 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports a good day of fishing today on the Viking Starlite. This morning started excellent with double header Porgies flying over the rail. The size wasn’t quite what its been, with a lot of throwbacks and smaller sized keepers, mostly mediums. As the day carried on the bite dropped to a very slow pick, but that morning shot made our day. The pool winner today went to Niguel Crawford from Virginia with a 2 1/2 lb Porgy. We are sold out for our 5am Montauk Spring Porgies tomorrow (Saturday, May 25th), but we have room still on Sundays trip!
