Mon May 27 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports an absolute bail job today on the Viking Starlite. This was by far the best day of the season with double header Porgies flying over the rails. A whole new school of fish seemed to move in and they are BITING, they definitely seemed to be on the larger size with mostly larges and a few close to jumbo Porgies. Everyone easily had their limit today to which we were able to hit the dock a few minutes early. No pool on the boat today, but high hook was around 3 lbs. We are sailing daily at 5am for our Montauk Spring Porgies with a reduced rate of $100 Monday-Friday. The weather looks like it will be holding off till tomorrow night so come on out and fish while the bite is hot !a group of people on a boat posing for the camera a box filled with different types of food a close up of a fish a person holding a fish in the water
