Fri May 31 – Montauk Spring Porgies
Capt Dave reports a picky day of fishing today on the Viking Starlite. We did a lot of moving around today. with each drop fishing would hold steady for about an hour and then drop out so we would make our run back up and keep on the drift. It was never crazy good at any point today, but fishing held slow and steady with mostly medium fish on the boat. We did not have a pool today with the light crowd, but the big fish was around 2lbs. We are definitely sailing tomorrow at 5am for our Montauk Spring Porgies, call or book online as these spaces do fill up!
