Tue June 11 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports good fishing on the Viking Starlite. We started the trip local and checked out the lighthouse and down the beach a bit. Everywhere we went there were a few and they were all big Porgies. We wanted to get some more fish on the boat, so we headed up to the bay where we have been fishing. There was a ton of action, but all the fish were on the smaller side. The pool winner was Larry Hazel from Kearny, NJ with a 2 1/2 lb Scup. We are definitely sailing tomorrow, Wednesday June 12 at 5AM. The office will open at 4AM for ticket sales.
