Wed June 12 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports a good day of fishing today on the Viking Starlite. We spent our morning in the bay which started off as an excellent shot with plenty of fish biting all around the boat. After about an hour they got picky so we made a move into some deeper water and had a decent shot for a few hours. Our last hour came up hot with some larger sized Porgies biting filling up most peoples buckets to have close to their limit. The pool winner today went to Morris Mullings from  Amityville, NY with a 2 1/2 lb Porgy.
