Thurs June 13 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports a better day of fishing today on the Viking Starlite. This morning started off hot with nonstop action for a solid hour. Once again as the sun moved higher up into the sky the bite dropped off so we made a move into some deeper water. In deeper areas we got into a slow steady pick of some decent size stuff, definitely better than the past couple days. The pool winner today went to Lazaro Cortiz from Brooklyn, NY with a 2 1/4 lb Porgy. We are definitely sailing again tomorrow (Friday, June 14th)  at 5am, our office will be open at 4am!
