Fri June 14 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports a pretty decent day of fishing today on the Viking Starlite. It’s been. pretty similar pattern fishing day today. This morning started off great with double-header Porgies coming over the rail left and right for about an hour and a half till that sun ascended high in the sky. We worked our way into the deep and got into a decent pile mostly small stuff, a few mediums.  The pool winner today went to Cornell Armstrong from Teaneck, NJ with a 2 lb Porgy. We are almost sold out for tomorrow’s 5am Montauk Spring Porgies, so book while you can!
