Sun June 16 – Montauk Spring Porgies

Capt Dave reports an excellent day of fishing in the OCEAN today on the Viking Starlite. This was our first day trying down the beach and we certainly had them and they were mostly large and jumbo sized. We had to pick through quite a few SeaBass to which looks like well be having a great SeaBass season when it opens up on Saturday. But overall the fish seem to be back and local and we had a great day of fishing. Manual Booda from Union, NJ had the pool today with a 3 lb Porgy!
