Fri June 21 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Capt Mike reports an enjoyable morning on the Viking Star. The morning started off with a steady pick with keeper Fluke on the first drop. We saw a lot of SeaBass, playing catch and release for a drift. We started seeing some porgy and a few keeper fluke as we made our way around the point. Full moon tide through things off for a bit, but fishing picked up on our last drift to end the morning with more keeper Fluke and some Porgies. The pool winner today went to Jeannine Perrin from North Belmar with a 3.2 lb Fluke!
