Fri June 21 – Full Moon Striped Bass

Capt Carl reports another EPIC night onboard the 144ft fishing platform Viking Starship under the Full Strawberry Moon! It was just like last night. Striped Bass everywhere! We had a bigger crowd on the boat tonight, so it took us a little longer to catch our limit (45 minutes) of perfect slot sized Striped Bass, with everyone onboard again hooking, fighting, and landing keeper slot sized Stripers! We played a lot of catch and release until our arm weary anglers called it a trip! We saw Bass from 24 inches (very few) all the way up to 34 pounds! Many many over slot size fish were caught and released. It was another Montauk Striped Bass Bonanza! We are sailing again Saturday night onboard the world’s largest 144ft Cadillac, the mighty Viking Starship! We are sailing Ultra Limited Load and have plenty of space, so come on out and experience some of the best Striped Bass fishing we have seen in years! Congratulations to our pool winner Matt Oskey from Bohemia, NY who hit the jackpot with the heaviest slot sized Bass!
