Thurs June 27- Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports an even better day on the Viking Starship. It was a slow pick all morning with very big Porgies first thing. When the tide changed we headed east. It is really filling in out there with a lot of action, but the Porgies are not as big. We had some long drifts with mixed size Porgies and Sea Bass from small to large and everything in between. The first place pool winner was Luiz Alberto from Hempstead, NY with a 3.5 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Tony Ho from Queens, NY with a 4 lb Sea Bass.
