Fri June 28– 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Capt Mike reports a pretty decent morning of fishing today on the Viking Star. It was a slower start to the morning having to adjust the boat around to the tide. We saw a good pick Seabass and a couple Porgies at the first drop and the bite slow dissipated. Towards the end of the trip the tide started to the flood and made for pretty steady pick on our last two drifts, pulling up a lot more Fluke, shorts and some keepers. Overall a nice day on the water! The pool winner went to John Lomuscio from Deer Park, NY with a 4 lb Fluke!
