Thurs July 4 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Capt Steven Sr. reports lots of action this morning on the Viking Star. The Porgies were certainly biting today, with lots of rods bending all around the boat. We had some decent Fluke action with quite a bit of shorts and a few keepers in the mix, along with some nice SeaBass. We ended our trip with a whale watching show as the humpbacks came in close to feed!  The first prize pool winner went to Cameron Simons from Manorville, NY with a 3.5 lb Fluke. The second prize pool winner went Niko Carlson from Ridgewood, NY. Happy 4th of July!!
