Tue July 9 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports excellent fishing on the Viking Star. Porgy fishing was perfect by the Lighthouse where we drifted and everyone had their limit within two hours. We then went into the deep closer to Block Island today and had plenty of action with Sea Bass and some Porgies in the mix. Unfortunately the keepers were hard to come by, but we did have a handful of keepers. There was no pool today, but the biggest Porgy was 3 lbs and Mr. Lee had a beautiful 4 lb Sea Bass.
