Sun July 28 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports another excellent day of fishing today on the Viking Star. The Porgies we’re really biting today with fish from medium to jumbo in just about every spot we hit. SeaBass fishing was on the slower side with the Porgies really biting their heads off making it hard to target the SeaBass. The first prize pool winner went to Victor Canales from Long Island with a 3.1 lb Porgy. We will be sailing again tomorrow at 5am for our Montauk Jumbo Porgies and SeaBass on the Viking Starlite, the office will be open at 4am for check-in.
