Sun Aug 4 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Capt Mike reports a decent morning of mixed bag fishing on the Viking Star. This morning started off steady catching a mix of Porgy and SeaBass. We had a few nice keeper Fluke early as well. The bite tapered off a bit when the wind pick up. We also got the opportunity to see a humpback whale and a lot of dolphins today. The first prize pool winner went to Isaac Martinez from Maspeth, NY with a 4.5 lb Fluke. The second prize pool winner went to Gregson Gerrits from Harrison, NY with a 3.5 lb SeaBass!
