Mon Aug 12- Lighthouse Porgies and Knothead SaeBass
Capt. Dave reports a gorgeous active morning aboard the Viking Star. We started off by the lighthouse where we had excellent conditions and even better Porgy fishing. There were plenty of decent sized fished mixed in with some that we had to toss back. We then headed over towards the Island and it was fantastic, we had tons of beautiful size fish, mostly Porgies, some SeaBass, some keeper Fluke and a couple Mackerel mixed in. The pool winner was Chris L. from Nassau, NY, with a 2.6lb Porgy.
