Sat Aug 17 – Full Day Block Island Fluke & Sea Bass

Captain JR reports that today’s full day trip to Block Island brought us lots of east wind and quite the large ground swell. However, the sea bass bite was unaffected and we found the same excellent fishing that we have been used to. Anglers easily captured a beautiful limit of knot heads. We spent the last portion of the trip concentrating on finding a few fluke willing to bite and boated some beauties. Definitely NOT a bad day! The SeaBass pool winner went to Michael Martuscello from Nesconset, NY with a 3.4 lb SeaBass. The Fluke pool winner went to Samuel Livingston from Levittown, PA with a 7.8 lb Fluke.
