Wed Aug 21 – Full Day Block Island Fluke & Sea Bass

Capt JR reports a pretty good day on the Viking Starlite. The Sea Bass fishing was once again as good as it gets with everyone easily getting their limit of big beautiful knot heads. However, the Fluke bite was definitely way off. Maybe they need some time to recover after the giant ground swell the last few days, or maybe they just didn’t want to eat. We only found a few and we did lots of looking. Either way we had loads of action and found some giant porgies to make up the difference in the buckets. The winner of both pools was Elba Maza from Jackson Heights, NY with a 3.2 lb Fluke and a 2.7 lb Sea Bass. Due to popular demand we will be continuing the trip into the first two weeks of September on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays! Spots fill up quick, so don’t hesitate to book on vikingfleet.com or give us a call. 631-668-5700
