Fri Aug 23 – 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Capt Mike reports a pretty good morning of fishing on the Viking Starlite. We had another day of ripping tide but we managed to find a few spots to fish with steady picking all morning. We landed some massive SeaBass and jumbo Porgies in the buckets. The Fluke bite was a little slow until the end with a couple nice keepers to throw in for the mixed bag. The first prize pool winner went to Keith DeSena from Long Beach Island, NJ with a 3.6 lb SeaBass. The second prize pool winner went to Brian DeSena from Fair Haven, NJ with a 3.2 lb SeaBass.
