Fri Sep 27 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a tougher day than we have been seeing on the Viking Starship. We had mixed size Porgies with Sea Bass mixed in. There were limits of keeper Sea Bass with no problem. Anglers  also caught a couple of keeper Cod, Pollock and Fluke with Mackerel everywhere. So all in all in was a well rounded trip!  The first place pool winner was Danny Ko from NYC with a 3 1/2 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Quincy Williams from NJ with a 13 lb Cod. Sailing daily at 5AM.
