Sun Oct 6– Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a good day of fishing today on the Viking Star. We started off today up close to the island in pretty much the same spot we had our long drift yesterday and saw some really good action. Unfortunately the fish in this area seemed to be on the smaller side today with a lot of throwbacks. So we did make a couple moves till we got our way offshore into some deeper water and got into a nice pick of some large Porgies and SeaBass and didn’t really see much throwbacks here other than the mi of Mackerells in here. The first prize pool winner went to Santo Green from the Bronx, NY with a 3 lb Porgy.
