Sat Oct 12 – Night Squid Jigging

Captain Justin reports another slow yet steady night of jigging on the Viking Starlite. Our night began strong out in the deeper waters with a lot more action early on. But, as the evening progressed, schools of Bluefish arrived, which seemed to have startled the Squid to finish off the night with a slow pick. However, there are noticeable signs of improvement in both the size of the squid and our overall numbers on the boat. We are looking forward to continuing our trips this season. We will be sailing every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night in October!
