Sat Oct 26 – Block Island Blackfish & Sea Bass

Capt JR reports a pretty good catch onboard the Viking Star today. We started out Sea Bass fishing and had a good pick most of the morning with a few drops having a healthy showing of knot head biscuits. The inshore Blackfish bite was a bit off but the tog sharpies had a few a piece and a couple guys had their limit. A good start to the fall Block Island fishing. The Blackfish pool winner was John Canel with a 7 lber. The Sea Bass pool winner was James Sasure from Levittown, NY with a 4.5 lber.
