Sat Oct 26 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports excellent fishing on the Viking Starship. We started the trip up close to Block Island in the shallow water. There were all nice size Porgies. Mostly larges. We ventured offshore and found excellent Sea Bass fishing with really great action. The dogs were mostly non existent today making it much easier to get to the Sea Bass. We didn’t find many Porgies out there. Also in the mix were Bluefish and Mackerel. The first place pool winner was JR Ngarnk from NJ with a 3 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Felipe From Brooklyn, Ny with a 7 lb Bluefish.
