Tue Oct 29 – Coxes Ledge Cod & Sea Bass

Capt JR reports a banner day on the Viking Star. We had excellent fishing with lots of jumbo Knothead Sea Bass. There was also a much improved showing of nice green Cod in all the areas we fished. The catch was topped off with a good sprinkling of big angry Coxes Ledge Scup. The ledge is definitely hot and will only get better over the next two months. The Cod pool winner was James Dalessio from East Rockaway, NY with a 16 lber. The Sea Bass pool winner was Frank Daskalakis from Brooklyn, NY with a 4.5 lber.
