Sun Nov 17 – Night Squid Fishing

The SQUID ARE STILL HERE!

Captain Carl was very happy to report that the Giant Montauk Squid are still here!

We’ve had quite a few days of stiff winds keeping us away from the Squid Grounds, but we did sail Saturday night and it was still windy but we did see signs of life, though overall it was a slower night.

Sunday night bounced right back and was VERY good Squid fishing with many many JUMBO KRAKEN SIZE SQUID! We started catching all around the boat right away for a while. The guys who were dialed in caught steady all night and some even filled buckets!

We are adding another trip this Tuesday night so get them while they are here! We will continue to sail for squid when the weather lets us while they are here!
