Tue Nov 19 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports great fishing today on the Viking Starship. We started off on a wreck and had big beautiful Sea Bass and nice size Porgies. There was real quality there. When it slowed down we moved around looking for a good spot. There were plenty of bites with smaller fish. We finally ended up on a great spot and were rewarded with double headers and very lively fishing. There were also Cod, Blues and Bonita to round out the catch. We are looking forward to getting back out there tomorrow to the great fishing and beautiful weather expected! The first place pool winner was Zhixin Tao from Queens, NY with a 3.2 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Zhi Chun Wen from Brooklyn, NY with a 15 lb Cod.
