Wed Nov 20 – Blackfish & Sea Bass

Capt JR reports a good day of fishing onboard the Viking Star. We started out on the Sea Bass grounds and had EXCELLENT fishing. It was definitely lock and load with everyone getting their fill of nice knot head Sea Bass. The Blackfish bite was a little sluggish today, but we boated some real beauties before heading home. It was a gorgeous and productive day all around. The Blackfish pool winner was Gim Yee from Queens, NY with a 7 lb fish. The Sea Bass pool winner was Charlie Oskey from Moriches, NY with a 4.5 lb fish.
