Sat June 22 – Sunset Jigging for Striped Bass and Blues

Capt JR reports a less than stellar night on the Viking Star. We had a decent start with a few good drifts. Some Bluefish, Porgies, and Fluke had the rods bent right away. However, the tide soon eased off and the action dwindled. Tomorrow night has an extra hour of good tide so hopes are definitely still high for us to rebound from tonight. The pool winner was Oscar Ortiz from New York with an 8 lb Bluefish.
