Wed July 9 – Full Day Block Island Fluke & Sea Bass

Capt JR reports an improved day of Block Island angling onboard the Viking Starlite. The morning bite started off much better than our last trip with more abundant Fluke and Sea Bass bending rods. However, the change of tide definitely brought things down to a grind and we tried a few new zones and things definitely improved. Guys that stuck to their guns had some quality Fluke today. The Fluke pool winner was Charlie Taylor from Massapequa, NY with a 7 lber. The Sea Bass pool winner was Steve Sullivan from Bayshore, NY with a 4.5 lber.
