Wed July 9 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a good day on the Viking Starship. We had excellent Porgy fishing down the beach with mixed size fish. The Sea Bass grounds had a lot of smaller fish and not too many keepers. We headed east to check out out another spot that had small Sea Bass and we found really nice Porgies up to 3 1/2 lbs. The pool winner was Shanod Burton from New York with a 3 1/2 lb Porgy.
